McCormick View Apartments is an urban infill 30-unit project consisting of one-bedroom and studio apartments in the downtown Tacoma region, located at the top of the hill near the Martin Luther King District. The project is located five blocks from the University of Washington Campus and one Block from Saint Joseph Hospital and two blocks from the terminus of the new Tacoma Light Rail extension terminus.

The design uses small building concepts having 4 stories and 4 units per story so that every unit is on a corner of the building offering maximum light into the units. A central entrance provides the urban security desired. A central courtyard provides outside space, and parking is provided under one edge of the lower building and additional parking along the back alley. The property is designed specifically to accommodate the hillside sloping site to benefit the appeal of the property for tenants as well as to take advantage of the sweeping territorial views from the project, looking over downtown Tacoma, the waterway, the Port and Mt Rainier.
